From this constant interaction you meet people that end up offering you things such as support, guidance, help, different viewpoints or opinions. These people who end up being your friends, best friends, and teachers help shape who you are as a person. It also helps you learn how to deal with certain people who either may have bad attitudes, you don 't get along with, pressure you or even bullies. You can encounter these type of people at any point in your life and knowing how to deal with them at an earlier age will help you deal with it later in life. These communication skills not only help you deal with people but also give you a sense of confidence. Amanda Tarantino, graduate of New Milford High School and student at Dance Dimensions, says that "If I 'd been home-schooled, I might not have become the outgoing person I am today” (quote 2). You not only miss out on gaining these skills but you also miss out on things like clubs or teams where you work on your team playing skills. A majority of school will not let you play on their team if you don 't go to their school. You could join an outside of school team but that isn 't as constant as being in a regular school setting and it is also is an added expense you have to worry about.
