There are too many heroes in the book Iliad, strength as Achilles, smart as Odysseus, brave as Patroklos. But in my mind, the idea hero is Hector, the holder of Troy, even he is not strength as Achilles, and even lose the battle in the end. In my mind the reason why a here is a hero, because they never escape from their destiny and responsibility, they will fight until they died, Hector does. Even the reason of this war is not his fault, but in order to defend his country, he fights in the battle line, do his best to win the glory, he never give up his responsibility and the chance to win the war.
