Harrison Bergeron
Do you truly know someone enough to determine if they are a hero or not. In this story Harrison Bergeron can be seen as a hero and a tyrant but I believe that Harrison Bergeron is a hero. I would consider him a hero because he wants to make a difference and change the ways of the government to make people have a better life. He wants to get rid of all these handicaps so people can be free and do things they want to do. The government wants to block all of that and is against him they want him captured and in jail. Now it's up to Harrison and his actions that will make or break the world but I believe he will do the right thing and never giving up on his people.
My first reason on why I think Harrison Bergeron is a hero would have to be his passion and energy to get rid of the handicaps on people. He doesn't like that people are all the same and they don't have any characteristics. He is so committed to getting rid of the handicaps he actually takes all of his handicaps off on live television. This is brave because the government can punish you for doing that by either killing you or doing two years in prison and two thousand dollar fine for every ball taken out according to page 112 …show more content…
In there time of era the people are living life in a dystopia and the people there get treated like trash not even human beings. Now comes Harrison with his big plans to overthrow the tyrannical government now his ideas are fabulous and are going to change the way people live. The number one things I keep on repeating is that the people will be happy and content with their lives. The government doesn't really believe in that and instead right when Harrison delivers his speech they actually shoot him and sadly he dies. One thing is for sure Harrison would have been a great leader and make the citizens have a good
