In this article, Nicholas Carr discusses the negative characteristics of the internet in his essay. Is google making us stupid, but there are others who see positive aspects of the internet. The internet including google could be helping human beings brains in some ways, even though there may be some issues that exist. This paper will give a detailed explanation of the positive aspects of the internet and how it has evolved our way of life for the better. It has completely changed the way people communicate, work, learn, organize, plan and research. Not everyone agrees with Carr's feelings of negativity toward towards the internet and intelligence. David Weir decided to survey 895 experts through the Pew Internet & American Life Project. And what he discovered was outstanding, 76% of the experts agreed with the statement that google is making us smarter. Here are some things the surveyors had to say:
