Here is a fun fact, Google is making us stupid. Think about this you’re on earth, but without your phone or tablet, you would be bored out of your mind and want to know a way to be able to distract yourself. The articles we read state that Google is making us stupid. I honestly think that Google is making our generation dumber. First of all, you would think that Google is making us smarter because it’s able to access us information in the blink of an eye. The truth is, It’s not making us smarter, but in fact dumber. In the article “Is Google Making Us Stupid?” it’s said to be that “What really makes us intelligent isn't our ability to find lots of information quickly. It’s our ability to think deeply about that information.” This clearly states that it doesn’t matter how fast you find the information but if you are able to understand it. Also Google isn’t human so how is it suppose to help us understand how do it. Google can’t make us smarter just by finding the sources quickly if you aren’t able to understand it. Sure Google is quick with information and can help you out in your work nevertheless you may not be able to access Google all the time. Even though in The article “No, Google is not making us stupid,” claims that a library may not be able to have all the books about a certain subject, but Google will have many sources with it, you would have to go to many websites that may have misleading information and making sure there are relatable to the other websites. Anybody can go to Wikipedia and change the words in it and we humans may not know that so they get the information
