Is Global Warming Real Or A Myth?

Is global warming real or a myth? This is a theory that scientists have questioned for a long time and it may be a real problem or it may be that scientists have been mistaken and their theory is incorrect. I would say either way it is not good to put all of these bad chemicals in the air we breathe because I believe this could cause many other problems in the future that may be even worse than just the effects of global warming. We should really do something to reduce this because there are so many toxic gases that are being released in the air from everyday things we do and we don’t even think about what this could potentially be doing to our environment. There are so many ways we can help reduce what we put in our air and we may never get …show more content…
That is the way we power our vehicles, this has a major impact on what we call global warming. People use cars almost every day for going to work, school, and traveling and it causes so much of the pollution today with the gases they release. There is one way we can help to reduce the gases polluting our air and that is through the idea of the electric car, it uses way less non-renewable resources than any other types of cars today. The car relies almost solely on the electric battery, but still does use little bits of gas when it needs to. Cars alone produce a large percentage of the pollution released in the United States and this could definitely bring this percentage down. I know most people don’t have the money to buy these electric cars yet because they are still working on making them cheaper for the majority of the public but I think in the next few years we will see these become more readily available to the public and it won’t just be a type of car the rich can afford. If everyone had these cars we would make our world a better place for the future and decent impact on our environment today and lower the percentage of pollution that is being produced by …show more content…
One of those concepts is called the Hyperloop and is made by Elon Musk. The Hyperloop is a completely new mode of transportation and some would call it revolutionary. The Hyperloop “capsules are meant to scream through the center of such a tube at 700 miles per hour on a cushion of air, pulling themselves along with a fan and getting extra propulsion from the magnets--a way to get from A to B faster and more efficiently than planes or trains.” (Bradley, Ryan) With the Hyperloop using an electric fan and magnetic propulsion to travel from one place to another this mode of transportation would produce very little pollution if any at all. The only problem with the Hyperloop is it is still being tested and we aren’t sure how well it would work in the real world. Also the track for the Hyperloop would have to placed all around the United States for it to really get traction and become used among all people and the chance of this happening within the next 10 or so years is probably fairly low. I think for the far future if they can finally produce a model that is reliable and they are able to place Hyperloop tracks all around the country then this could be something people use in the future, maybe even going as far as replacing the use of

Cars play a major role in the pollution of air because the carbon these gas produce spreads out in the entire ecosystem leading to air pollution. Bill Nye offers a solution to this kind of pollution by stating that electric cars would be more considerable compared to fuel cars. These electric cars are charged at a central electric power plant where the air is filtered and released into the atmosphere. As part of a solution towards pollution, Bill Nye advocates for the use of energy saving machines in every household because the use of more energy leads to high rate of pollution in the atmosphere. He also advocates for the use of biodegradable produces like plastics rather than the non-biodegradable ones which would decompose in case they are disposed of.…

As reported by NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, there is extremely substantial evidence that points to and proves that global warming is a very prominent and real issue. The most notable evidences are rising sea levels, overall increase in the average global temperature, extreme weather events, and ocean acidification, just to name a few.…

One of the largest contributors to this is transportation, primarily gasoline-fueled cars. Electric cars would eliminate a significant portion of air pollution and greenhouse gas production. They also have numerous other benefits, such as reduced operating and maintenance costs, along with being more efficient and better performing than gas powered cars. Society needs to take electric cars seriously as an alternative, and include them in their search for their next car. They might find that it would be the perfect solution to a multitude of problems, the most important of which is the safety of the planet for the generations to…

And even if there is the use of some of the electric cars that do emit some gas because of the small tank that they have, it doesn’t even compare with the size of those Ram trucks. Another great thing about electric cars is that they can be powered by wind power or solar radiation, this means that you can use your car by absorbing the natural energy that comes from the sun or the wind. We are now capable to use…

Everyone has heard the term global warming, but how is this major issue being defined? To many people, global warming is defined as the steady rise of the Earth’s temperature from an excess of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere. To numberless others, global warming is simply that the climate change and carbon emission has nothing to do with it. While this last definition seems to be the easiest due to being less scary and not having to deal with the problem, it does not mean it is correct. As difficult as it maybe to accept the truth, people are slowly making their own home an oven; therefore, leading to fluctuations in the weather patterns, drastically rising sea levels, the extinction of many species, and an overabundance of…

Is global warming a legitimate threat to this planet? The issue of global warming is currently being debated throughout the world by political battles, news articles, and even scientific research that define our planet 's status. Looking over several articles about the topic provided me with enough information to conclude that the issue of global warming and how we are abusing the planet will determine our next generation 's lifestyle and even their lives. The main cause of global warming is the increased rate of greenhouse gasses being emitted into the atmosphere, but the greatest contribution to the release of carbon dioxide is from burning natural fuel. In 2010 for example, 20% of the gases that are released into the atmosphere, naturally…
