Is Global Warming A Hoax Essay

The claim that Global warming is a hoax is true. Global warming has been an idea since 1988 and has thought to be a problem but is just a hoax. Global warming is when there is an increase in temperature that is thought to be caused by carbon dioxide created by humans and other animals (Geiselman). Global warming is a hoax because animals are thriving and it is getting colder, it is just a scam to use people 's money, and it is actually just an earth cycle. Believe it or not, the earth 's climate is actually getting colder and animals like polar bears are making a comeback. Other animals like the polar bear are delightfully making a huge recovery. People that support global warming say that the endearing and innocent polar bears are going …show more content…
This so called “global warming” is thought to be caused by humans but in reality it is just a earth cycle which is called climate change. Climate change is a change in the earth’s climate over a long period of time which is in a cycle (Geiselman). Global warming is also completely different than climate change. “...‘global warming’ evokes stronger connotations of human causation, whereas ‘climate change’ evokes stronger connotations of natural causation (Schuldt 116).” The idea of people causing the earth to heat up from emitting carbon dioxide is partly believable but this cycle has been going up and down for a long time. This cycle is constantly happening every so often. A group of scientist from Syracuse University did a study that showed that in the medieval times the whole world had heated up and then got cold again (Forbes). This shows that the earth goes through cycles of getting hot and then going cold again. Climate change is also more believable than global warming because global warming is way more unreasonable. An example of this is that global warming is said to wipe out the whole world. Global warming also does not make sense because of global cooling. Scientists that supported global warming also supported global cooling. Global cooling is just the complete opposite of global warming and it is when the world is thought to be getting colder. This idea was thought to be happening in the 1970’s and completely contradicts global warming which makes no logical sense. Geiselman states that thirty years ago scientist predicted an ice age, but on the contrary they predicted the complete opposite thirty years later. The idea of global warming and cooling is very flawed and shows that global warming is just a

Global warming is known mostly to cause negative effects on the environment. One of the most important species that global warming has had affect on is Polar Bears. There are at least two sides to everything, and this topic is no exception. Some people believe that global warming is the main issue as to why these bears are slowly dying, and it will cause the extinction of them in a few years. There are other people who believe global warming is something that has been around for decades, and is not something that people should be blaming for the lost lives of these bears.…

The issue my group and I are discussing about is global warming. Global warming is described as an increase in the earth’s average temperature that is caused by an increase in greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane. Scientist have labeled humans to be the main cause for global warming. We believe global warming is a problem because it causes the sea level to rise, extinction of animals, and pollution. Most scientists agree that humans are the main reason for the development of global warming.…

Canipe 1 Global Myth "Global Warming refers to a long-term increase in the Earth's surface temperature that results in large scale changes in global climate" (Freedman and Duncan 1). Global Warming is a highly debated topic. Many people believe it is a real danger due to the studies from NASA, which do not go along with other scientist's studies. Other studies show global temperatures have been declining every year since 1998. "During the 20th century, the earth warmed 0.6 degrees Celsius, but that has been wiped out in a single year with a drop of 0.63 degrees Celsius in 2007.…

It seems you cant swing a stick without hitting a global warming activist these days. Now, when I first started reading about this phenomenon, I was pretty skeptical. After all, it was only in the 1970s that scientists were warning of another ice age. So I read a book called "The Skeptical Environmentalist" by Bjorn Lomborg.…

Global Warming is real and is most likely caused by humans. All of the articles about global warming were from accredited sources such as published science journals and even NASA, the leading expert on global warming. Many of the things about why global warming is not real were from senators and other politicians making bold claims that were either partially or entirely wrong. The only thing that many of the speculators may have gotten right is that global warming is very likely to have been caused by humans but there is still reasonable doubt that it may not be. The bottom line is that whether it is caused by humans or not it is still important to do something about it.…

Global warming in its broad meaning is the increase of the average of air temperature near the Earth 's surface. This is a natural process, which started about 18,000 years ago. During this time, large territories were covered by huge ice glaciers and world temperature was about 18 degrees Celsius below zero. That was the real Ice Age, lasting for many thousands of years. The problem of global warming, or to be more precise the problem of human contribution into this natural phenomenon, was addressed officially, when industrial nations made pledges to reduce…

About the twentieth century, scientists found that global warming made the temperature change higher and higher as time goes on.…

Global Warming If you ever wanted to see polar bears in the wild, your time is running out. Global warming is causing polar bears, and many other species to go extinct. Global warming, also known as climate change, is the rising of the Earth’s temperature due to greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide, getting trapped in the atmosphere. When the gases can not leave the atmosphere, they absorb radiation and sunlight from the sun and make the atmosphere warmer.…

Global warming or climate change is the gradual increase of Earth’s temperature over time, through the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is the rising carbon level in the atmosphere, trapping radiation, and heating the Earth. Humans are depending on fossil fuels that release these emissions. Though we have increasingly started depending on renewable resources that don’t release these harmful gases into the atmosphere, we can already see the effects today and if this doesn’t stop now the planet will be destroyed. The human intervention that people have depended on with the environment is destroying the Earth.…

However, there is scientific evidence that proves the rising atmospheric temperature leading to the warming of the Earth and melting of glaciers. The Earth is warming at a rate that is almost irreversible causing more than half of glaciers and ice caps that have been proven by the rise of our seas. Over the last century, it has been proven that everyone has played a role in the effects of global warming.…
