The author warns people that fluoride was actually a carcinogenic industrial waste. Fluoride is added to the water supply for dental hygiene purpose. Here today people have be drinking for decades they hardly think about it anymore.

It is clear that both of the authors know that fluoride make tooth decay major problem that happens when it is in use of
