It is a great honor to host the World Cup, and FIFA’s actions should not be tolerated. Others, such as Qatar and Russia are content with this because they have already been granted to host the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. The effects of their dishonesty will be the death of workers and builders, traitorous and lying officials, and accepting of money and other valuables. FIFA is and has been corrupt because of their officials and illegal bribing, ending in consequences for others and themselves.

They have not only been bribed with money, but have also requested items and honors, which involved them as an absolute part of the deal. This was quite capricious, because FIFA is a global association and well known for its soccer appearances. With these actions they have tainted their reputation and will surely be punished. The punishment ending up being the retracting of the bribe money. The New York Post published an article with the headline reading, “FIFA actually has the nerve to ask US for its bribe money back.” Once again, this is an example of how shameless FIFA are acting and how they think that what they did was not deserving of consequences. On the contrary, the countries that have been awarded the rights to host the 2018 and 2022 World Cup’s, take the side of the officials that have been banned. Because they have already been rewarded with what they requested, although these rights could potentially be taken away if valid proof of corruption is found.
