Would you agree that wisdom comes with age? If you think about it, older people do make better decisions than young adults that tend to be very hasty and careless. Older age groups take past and future choices into account when making decisions that could possibly affect events later on in life. For example, my grandmother tends to think about long term rewards in the decisions she makes such as respect and trust gained from others in comparison to myself, which would rather get a physical reward or gift immediately than to wait on any other form of fulfillment. Also, my friends do the same as myself. This concludes that younger minds tend to act thoughtlessly instead of actually weighing the options and taking into consideration the affects that decision will have on their future. Thus, if one is considered educated then they tend to use past and future occurrences in order to make a decision. In my opinion, the whole world is a classroom. An educated person solves everything they face throughout the day. To be considered educated you must not only attain the ability to answer and conjure important questions, but also the disposition to do it. For instance, an educated person would show responsibility, leadership, and self-actualization. Therefore, teachers, lectures and standardized tests are not required for one to be considered educated. Assumptions can be made that teachers lecture to students so that they can “develop”, while these standardized exams test whether or not a student is “well-educated.” However, it is significant to understand that education is not only taught by being trapped in a classroom or measured by a test, but achieved by interactions and experiences with the real world itself, and gaining knowledge from its physical, intellectual and social
