Overall, cyborgs can be helpful but it can also have disadvantage in the long run. Graasfstra have a hearing problem; therefore, he uses a microchip implant for hearing aids. Cyborg made thing more versatiles for a person. Graasfstra said “” The tools have simply gotten smaller and less cumbersome to use. “That has always been the trend, and that will continue to be the trend.” This microchip is trendy and easy to use which make him feel not so special or noticeable because of his disability. Another person who is experiencing with cyborg is Neil Harbisson. He has a rare color blindness called achromatopsia therefore he can only see grayscale and no color.
