Sleepless nights and Overwhelming test days are all part of the learning experience as a college student.Going to college to get a bachelor's/associate's degree gives someone the opportunity to learn more at a normal job. The skills and maturity you get from it is useful later in life. College is perceived as an expensive tool for education but it's definitely worth it. Also successful people come with a background of attending college. All these are definite reasons why college is worth it. People who get a degree in college are more likely to earn more in a job. This includes liberal arts which is a diverse learning class. Liberal arts is for people who want to learn a little bit of everything. These offered classes are to help students develop their own significant ways of working through obstacles after graduation. In a national survey from Pew Research Center, it claims “n74% say their college education was very useful in helping them grow intellectually: 64% say it was very useful in helping them grow and mature as a person”(Pew Research). Those debates held at college help a student gain intellectual skills that lead to good communication skills. In this modern world communication is a very important skill because the thoughts and ideas of someone need to be well interpreted. College can be tough and puts students in situations where they must be wise and make the right decisions. Many successful people come with college backgrounds. For example, in Peter Thiel's Experiment “ he will pay pay each of the 24 winners in his Theil Fellowship $100,000 not to attend college for two years and to develop business ideas instead… one student ended up turning down the idea”(Wielder). The one student who turned down the deal preferred to stay in college because that was her best personal choice. Thiel, Co-founder of Paypal, himself explains he would turn down his program as a student. he believes in a good education and is a good example of what people can achieve through it. Being able to pay $100,000 for 23 people didn't come easy but it paid off, So even if someone has a budget there is always a way to save if desired
