College is a very difficult decision for everyone, after senior year is over and you’re ready to grow up, you must decide what you want to do with your life. On the other hand some other students are worrying if they will even be able to experience a higher level of education. Americans tend to believe that most students need to attend college in order to become successful and have a suitable life. I’ve always believed that college was there for the people who believe school can get them to where they want to be in life. It is also said that the student college drop out rate is now 53% so do you really need college to be successful? Which I never seemed to understand because a lot of great men and women have accomplished a substantial amount of success without college. My first concrete example is Bill Gates the founder of microsoft..The world’s richest man, Bill Gates, dropped out of Harvard University in 1975 to co-found Microsoft. While this techie might still look like a 14-year-old pasty teen, Gates total networth totals to 76 billion since he stepped down as Microsoft chairman. At the same time I believe that everyone is different, I also believe that it always depends on the person as well and their circumstances. Some people utilize education very different than others. Common sense seems to dictate that college is the key factor in order to elevate your success level in life.
