Is Clinton the lesser evil? In the upcoming election, when asked many say they will vote for the lesser of the two evils, although who is considered to be less? Many claim that Donald Trump is going to lead the nation into a war, however, others claim Clinton will do the same. Clinton is unfit to be the next President of the United States, although Trump is just as unfit, Clinton is also corrupt, in bad health and has numerous scandals behind her.
Based on her past, most of the things Clinton’s done, suspicion follows. According to Weekly Standard, Clinton is the most corrupt person to come close to the presidency. Over the years, Clinton has held numerous titles: Secretary of State, First Lady, U.S Senate and women’s activist, leading many to believe this proves she’s qualified to be President. Many claim there is no one more qualified than her because of the titles she’s held. Numerous people also agree with her stances on certain issues, even though they differ from her previous stances when she ran in 2008.(Marshall) Many want her as President because she claims she’ll make college free and raise the tax rate for the wealthy. However, according to The Huffington Post, “Congressional Republicans have consistently blocked Obama from enacting the types of reforms Hillary is proposing.” (Mogulescu)
Is a corrupt politician, whose motives are questionable, the lesser of the two evils? Clinton has a lot of baggage from her past, full of scandals and unfulfilled promises. Clinton is corrupt, with has numerous scandals behind her, which raises the question if she’s trustworthy or not.
