We are taught to be honest and work hard. However, by the time we are adults many if not most of us have cut corners, taken the easy road on certain things or just flat out taken advantage of something or someone to get ahead. How is cheating even possible in this world? The real world is about the strong surviving. To accomplish this someone has to lose. How we lose is the real question. What cheating does to a person morally is destroy them from inside. That cancer eats at you by the watering down of your principles and integrity. By the end you are viewed by those close to you as less than what they wanted you to be. Moral relativism says that anything goes, because life is ultimately without meaning. Fair, ugly or just outright cheating, everyone one at some point in their life is going to be faced with the dilemma of making that choice. The drive to be successful in life whether it’s in politics, a professional athlete or academia one is faced with an insatiable will to succeed. But their will to win outweigh their respect for the integrity of their chosen profession and the notion of engaging in a standard of behavior? Cheating is cheating the in the real world.
