Is Brutus A Tragic Hero

Brutus had everything he needed. However it took a quick change for the worse. “Et tu, Brute?(IIIi)” Caesar’s last words before his death. The killing of Caesar led into the battle between Antony, Octavius and Brutus, Cassius. The battle drug on for a long time. Brutus would lose his wife during the battle due to his lack of not being there and Antony killing the senators. “ No man bears sorrow better, Portia is dead. ( IIIIiii)” This hurts Brutus which gets him off his mind set of winning the war. Finally his greatest loss is his own life. “ I killed not thee with half os good a will.(IIIIIiiiii)” Brutus taking his own life ended the war. Which makes him a tragic hero.
