The Reason Is Beowulf a Hero or is he just a arrogant man? Beowulf talked himself up quite a bit but is it because he thought he was better than everyone or was it because he was actually better than everyone else? Beowulf was a hero because he was strong, brave, and he was also willing to die for the good of others.
