Many people are against the use of animals for medical research. But, is it really wrong to do scientific test on animals for our benefits? In my opinion, I do not think the use of animals for medical research is wrong. Animal testing can help save people lives, without animal testing we would not know if a product is safe to use or not. However, scientists test out their theory on animals to see if it is right and if so they can use it on humans. According to the New Internationalist Magazine, “if scientists did not have the ability to use animals in their research, scientists’ efforts would be massively hampered, not only in the direct development of new treatments, but also in the fundamental research which underpins all biomedical knowledge.”
