Is Abortion Right Or Wrong

When does Human life begin to count? Is it after a woman decide to engage in a sexual intercourse, or after conception? There has been an endless controversial debate for centauries on whether if abortion is right or wrong. Since the legalization of abortion in 1973 through 2008, 50 million unborn children have being cruelly aborted from seeing this world. Some of the oppose supporters are Pro-Life, they claim that a human life counts when the fetus becomes Viable; that is a point when a fetus is capable of living outside its mothers’ uterus. Their stance states that terminating a fetus is simply a woman denying her obligation to her consequences and destructive effect on our traditional morals and values. On the other hand, we have the Pro-choice …show more content…
Abortion is the same as murder because Murdering someone happens when an individual get killed without their will. The only exception to abortion is when a woman’s life is in serious jeopardy. If getting rid of the fetus will save a woman’s life, then it should be legal only in that circumstances. Although there are tons of contraceptives that can prevent pregnancy, Abstinence is the only most effective contraceptive with 0% chance failure rate. With that knowledge, a woman needs to weigh he possibility of falling pregnant if they use other type of contraceptives. If she perhaps falls pregnant it is her responsibility to make sure that baby gets the proper care she deserves. If they have financial, housing or other limitations, she can give birth and place the baby for adoption. Researchers found that 40% of unintended pregnancy end up in abortion. There are two types of adoption, one is Confidential; birth parent and adoptive parent don’t know each other. The adoptive parents concern is only about the baby. The other type of adoption is open; this method is when birth parents and adoptive parent stay in touch with one another and share information about themselves.
