Unfortunately millions of mothers every year will never be able to see their child smile for the first time or walk across the stage at graduation. The rising amount of abortions a woman receives per year, the lifelong strife the woman receives, and the murder of innocent children are all rational justifications for why abortion should be illegal in all states.

Adoption is a great alternative to abortion, over 51% of abortions are given to women under the age of 25, young girls not ready to start a family but rather a career, these girls will most likely be swept into poverty if they must care for a child. However adoption is always an option, in fact over 1.5 million people are in line to adopt an infant, in most cases the adopted child will be able to see their parents eliminating the extreme strife and psychological pain a mother often feels over losing a child, but if the mother chooses to never see her child that is also an option. A study done by American Adoptions said that as it is now there is approximately 1 adoption in every 149 abortions. Children are a gift and have been seen as that for all of time by many ancient civilizations, and a mother shouldn’t feel trapped at the idea of having a child; there are many options in America today such as adoption or asking for family help. Our nation needs to speak up to this inequity, we are letting our state get away with murder, literally. We need to stand up to those who choose to cut a child 's life before it truly begins. We can’t let this monster known as abortion continue to thrive in America; with every abortion we are stealing away a pure life not yet exposed to corruption and prejudice, we are taking away the future with every halting
