Abortion has been one of the most talked about conservancy 's in the world. Is it cruel and considered Murder? or is it completely fine and a way to run away from responsibilities in life. The debate whether or not abortion should be legal has expanded since the US supreme court case Roe vs. Wade. This case declared that the Abortion procedure is a “Fundamental right” this action was ruled in 1973. There are two sides and groupes of this conflict. pro life groups see abortion as immoral killing to the human being and that life begins at conception and also that abortion inflicts suffering on the unborn child and it is unfair to couples who can’t conceive and have no choice but Adoption. Besides Murder other reasons why Abortion shouldn’t be legal are It could possibly lead to health and emotional issues, and Adoption Rates would decrease and couples who can’t conceive a child may not get the chance to even adopt because more and more women are choosing abortion. In the United States About 1.4 million abortions are performed per year. My Religion and beliefs in God have showed me that killing an unborn baby is wrong. It may start out as just a zygote but it will grow and develop into a Human being in 9 months. He or she has the right to enjoy and become something in life. 38 out of 50 states in the U.S have passed some kind of act that prohibits Abortion. If I became Pregnant I would accept the consequences of my actions and take responsibility for the child. It would be selfish of myself if I Had an abortion , because it deserves to have a beautiful life and the chance to become a unique person. Also I know I would regret my decision later on in life. A patient would have to deal with that situation for the rest of their life. Later on in life the person might regret their decision and replay the abortion happening can cause trauma to their brain. There was a peer study done in 2008 and it was published by The Scandinavian Journal of Public Health that young women who undergo an abortion are at greater risk for subsequent depression. Whether it’s abortion, miscarriage,or a stillbirth women suffer from depression. In April of 1998 journal of Social and Clinical Psychology showed that men whose partners had an abortion 51.6% reported regret, 45.2% experienced sadness, and 25.8% suffered from depression. Anxiety and depression are the main effects that are developed from an Abortion others include: eating disorders, relationship problems,sexual dysfunction, and alcohol and drug abuse. There can be tons of health complications relating to abortion. Doctors insert tools into the body to scrap the fetus from the uterus if the procedure isn’t done correctly it could cause serious damages to the female reproductive system such as things like damage to the cervix, scarring to the uterine lining, heavy bleeding, and pelvic inflammatory disease and etc.. By the look of it that is a lot for a women to go through even the emotional aspects. Abortion can cause complications for future pregnancies.
