“Is a College Education Worth the Money?” I believe that a college education is worth the amount of money you spend based on what you’re attending college for and on how far you plan on taking your schooling experience. Most times people believe that attending college will automatically make them successful in the future no matter what it is. Sometimes, people finding themselves believe that they do not have to attend college to be successful because they have other ideas. Despite the instance where people are successful without a college degree, people are more likely to become successful attending school. A lot of research and statistics shows that the average person with a college education makes more than the average person with a high school diploma. “Americans with four-year college degrees made 98 percent more an hour on average in 2013 than people without a degree” (Leonhardt 33). I believe that does not mean that the average college graduate makes more than the average entrepreneur, musician, athlete. My mother and father are both successful entrepreneurs and my mother nothing more than a high school diploma, while my father has his master’s degree in accounting. While answering the question of whether going to college is worthwhile, the value of college determines whether it is worthwhile or not. Hat is the value of college?
