There are many diseases that cause people to look for medical interventions, but the abdominal diseases can be considered as one of the most common complaints for which people seek for medical interventions. As going throughout the case study of Amelia, a 25-year-old Caucasian female, presents to the primary care clinic with the chief complaint of abdominal bloating and diarrhea, worsening over the past 2–3 months, the conclusion medical diagnosis that could be made is an irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). According to Dunphy, et al., (2015), to be considered IBS there must be two features that present at the time of the diagnosis such as abdominal pain or discomfort that can be relieved after defecation, and the other feature is a change is stool
