Irony In Thank You M Am

In the short story, “Thank you M’am” by Langston Hughes, it shows many different personalities including forgiveness, kindness and empathy. In the story Mrs.Jones is a very caring and forgiving person. There are many good things to say about Mrs.Jones and how she shows empathy to Roger, a strange kid that she has never meet before. How does Mrs. Jone’s kindness help to change Roger? Mrs.Jones was definitely a big impact on Roger, mostly of how she acted toward the situation. I think that Mrs. Jones Kindness helped Roger change his ways because after what happen with the purse and Mrs.Jones could of called the cops and Roger would be in a lot of trouble, but instead Mrs.Jones took Roger to her house and feed him and let him clean up a little
