"What happened Joe? Rachel asks as Joe steps off the elevator.
"The states attorney had a valid explanation for everything I showed him."
"You kind of figured Allen would smoke screen his boss, right?"
"I suppose. Did you lose your phone yesterday?"
"No, why?"
"The janitor stopped me in the hallway and asked if you got your phone back. He said that DA asked if he'd found a phone so he gave it to him."
"Maybe it was Julia's phone he found."
"Yeah, maybe. Can I borrow your phone a minute?"
"Sure," she says, reaching across her desk.
"I'm going to see if this is the one he found." Joe says, dashing out in the hallway. Rachel turns towards Jerry with a puzzled look on her face.
"What are you thinking, Sergeant?"
"If Allen found her phone he could've

"Shot! Chris, you never mentioned seeing someone getting shot."
"I didn't see anyone get killed, mom. I came up afterwards. That’s when I saw that one guy that's always standing on the corner lying dead in the alley. You know the one I'm talking about, mom. He stands on the corner trying to sell drugs to everyone."
"Yeah, I know the one. I've had to run him off a few times myself. He gets high on that dope and thinks he still lives here. One time I came in to find him in the shower. I shot him in the ass with Chris's BB gun he never came around again."
"Did you see who shot him?"
"No, but I did see a guy run past me as I was walking up."
"Do you think you can describe him to us, Chris?"
"Oh no, you're not dragging my son in on a murder investigation. I won't have it." She states, jumping between her son and the officers.
"I understand the concern for your son's safety, but he's our only witness."
"No, he's not helping you anymore and that's that."
"We can put your family in witness protection."
"No!"
"Please mom, please let me do it, for dad's sake." The child begs.
"Comparing this to your dad's death isn't fair Chris and you know it." She tearfully

"What is it this time?" He asks, glancing down at his watch.
"I have a statement and two sketches I'd like to show you, sir."
"Is this about Allen again?"
"You're DA and his accomplices, sir." He corrects.
"Make it quick."
"This is the guy who ran past the witness right after the shooting and this is a picture of the guy who laid the phone down on the rock."
"I asked Allen about the phone he supposedly planted and he said he picked it up, looked at it, then laid it back down so it could be processed."
"He should know better than to pick up evidence like that."
"He said he thought it was his phone."
"His has a pink cover?" Joe questions.
"Are you arresting these two?" Jack asks, pointing at the picture.
"They're in our custody, sir. I thought you'd want to know about Allen's involvement so you can get ahead of this before it gets out of hand."
"There's nothing to get ahead of. Allen has nothing to do with any of this and you know it!"
"We have a witness that says he saw him planting the evidence."
"He wasn't planting anything now if you'll excuse me, I have somewhere I need to be," he states, pushing past the captain."
"There's one more thing, sir." Joe says, grabbing a hold of his

Today’s survivalists now bring many things for survival. Tent’s, plenty of food, proper weapons and ammo, and most importantly: some sort of electronic beacon/radio that can hone in on their position if activated so they can be rescued if they are in some sort of sticky situation. Don’t bother with trying to ask him about why he did this as his lifeless body was found inside of an abandoned bus which was nick-named the Magic Bus(too much, Magic Bus! ha, funny…
