Iris Shleuning Research Paper

Iris van Herpen show was such a great experience, yet the best one so far for me, since she is my all times favorite designer. Before getting to visually look at the collection of her, Sarah Schleuning has given a speech about the process of making the collection. The first level captured my attention by it massive in terms of the size as well as the variety of unconventional materials. The designs were very strong and tough yet also romantic since she combined actual fabric for bottom wears such as tiny skirt with ruffles and laces. The second level was definitely impressive and stunning. Most of the dresses were designed with fierce and looking stiff. It’s interesting to think about where did all the inspiration for each of the design came from, since they were very creative and unique in the most beautiful way. Overall, it was such an honor to have eye on eye on the collection and Iris has never disappointed me with her designs. They are just strangely
