We are a loving family with two daughters, Irene and Vera. It is a long and exciting experience for us as parents to raise them up, to learn who they are, and to know what to prepare for their future education.

The best thing we love about Irene is her big loving heart. She is always kind to others. In school, many kids love to play with her because of her sweet and nice personality, besides the imaginative and fun part. At home, she gets along very well with her toddler sister Vera, showing great capacity to care and the willingness to help.

Irene started her full day Montessori preschool before three, as the youngest in her class. Unlike the very talkative one at home, she is a quiet observer and learner at school. Her teachers often tell us how surprised they are when they notice this quiet girl actually learns things very quickly and knows a lot more than they thought. She was recently selected as the

She likes to turn stories into her own drawing, such as Elsa and her ice castle, Berenstain Bears and their big tree house, and the latest Vera crying on Santa's lap. Collecting different leaves, acorns and rocks are also her favorite things.

Overall, Irene is a sweet girl who loves art, reading, and exploring the world. She is strong in logic, language and creativity. She is a little shy in public, and needs to have more self-confident and more encouragement to pursue her dreams.

This world is becoming more and more competitive. As parents, we believe STEM is fundamental to early education. In the meantime, exposure to a broad range of topics and activities are equally important. We hope Irene can learn solid science, and more importantly, establish the life-long interest of learning. We want her to grow into a decent and confident person, socially and emotionally prepared for the real society. We believe small class, safe school environment, and close teach-parent communications are the keys to foster these

The Price family's intention to single-handedly convert the natural ways of the Congo acted as a kick-start to Ruth May’s tragic downfall. As the Price family ventured throughout Kilanga they were faced with challenges. The traditional values of the Congolese were foreign to the Price family and their actions brought along consequences. The garden, Nathan planted was a prime example of the force Kilanga has on the Price family. When Nathan set out to plant his garden, “he declared he would make them grow, in the name of God, or he would plant again if only the sun would ever come out and dry up this accursed mire” (Kingsolver 63).…

While reading the book I am a spectator most of the time and imagine everything taking place in a movie, but sometimes I am a background character. This would be equal to a Stan Lee cameo in a Marvel movie. For example, when the main character Gwen is choosing if she will be an Atlantean cadet or a civilian, I would be next in line and picking as she walks off. Giving advice to Gwen would be a hard thing to do because she already lives her life thinking that if something doesn’t go her way, she can always do something to change it. No matter how unusual or impossible the circumstances are she will always have hope to finish what she started.…

For most of my life I’ve been like a magnet, always being pulled different ways and never really becoming myself, by myself. I’ve been a bottle without a message, floating between people and shores. I would keep friends for the school year then lose them in the summer because of my total apathy towards most of their lives, thus my lack of importance in theirs. This continued for all of middle school and my first two years of high school. [Make this moment more impactful, significant, so we know she’s someone important.…
