For the past two years, I have had the pleasure of serving as a Residential Manager at Enable’s Calvert Group Home. In this capacity, I have supervised and coached my staff to meet the high quality of service that Enable requires of its employees. I have ensured that my staff meets the needs of each one of our residents, and does so in a meaningful and excellence manner. Moreover, I have ensured that the needs of our residents have been fully met, and they are achieving their IHP/IPP goals. Likewise, I ensure that residents are socializing in the community, and are giving numerous leisure activities to stimulate their time within the residence. Likewise, I am committed to providing the leadership and supervision within the company and my region to ensure that there is a high quality of service and support for our residents. Moreover, I will support and maintain Enable’s policies and procedures, and assist to ensure that managers and staff are properly trained in accordance with DDD regulations. I have also developed the relationships with consumers, and have the knowledge that will be necessary to ensure that IHPs are writing and matched to the abilities of our residents. With that in mind, I have also developed the relationships with parents and guardians to ensure that our consumers are living full independent lives. Similarly, I will ensure that reports and paperwork are done in a timely and appropriate manner; furthermore I will ensure that budgets are met, and that the overall strategic goals of Enable are fulfilled. I have exhibited my ability to be a team player, and have worked to help supplement the other managers within my region. Finally, I have an associate degree in liberal arts, and have studied psychology at Jersey City University; I have over 15 years of experience in the disability community as both a direct care attendant and a manger. In closing, I believe my guidance as a Regional Manager will help to enhance our residents, their families, and the staff and managers of Somerset and Middlesex
