Water boils because the high temperature of the stove-top makes the liquid's temperature increase, in which makes it bubble. To start off, the water molecules are constantly moving around; by the virtue of the calefaction, which means heat, or to be heated. Heat is a lot like pressure to atoms in the water. When warmth hits the iota, which means small particle in the water. The iota gets crushed down into a smaller version of itself, which makes the water boil. When the water is heated, it makes a gurgling sound and it bubble.Moreover, Salt itself makes water boil faster. Iodide salt works the best because of the iodide in it.
