In Invictus I believe that he can guide his future in the direction that he wants to go because, it is what he wants to do it is up to him what he wants to do in his life. Meaning that he is the one that decides where his life goes what his destiny is, no one can do it for him. No one can change his future, but him. He is the one that chooses if he want to go through a good path or a bad path in life. For example, if you decide to do something you're not supposed to do. You can't blame anyone but yourself if you get in trouble.
