The theme of the invictus poem is that his childhood was dark and scary and also lonely but still he never gave up and the theme of the movie evolution of a criminal is that his life was dark and hard because they were struggling but he still had a childhood so he didn’t know.
One detail is that he started his movie in a flashback telling what his childhood was like and so did William Henley when he wrote his poem invictus, in the first stanza the first line said “black as the pit from pole to pole I thank whatever go maybe for my unconquerable soul” when we said that he was talking about how dark his childhood was but he
