On 12/29/15, I (Investigator Reyer) made contact with, James Bradley Norwood, in reference to several outstanding warrants he had with several agencies. After taken Norwood into custody a search incident to arrest was conducted. During the search a small meatal can pink in color was located inside his right jacket pocket. After opening the can a small clear bag containing a clear rock like substance was located. The substance latter weighted had an aggregate weight of .5 grams.
Post Miranda why being question on an unrelated case, Norwood admitted he knew the substance was in his pocket. Norwood stated he had been drinking and bought some a few days prior. Norwood was charged and taken to PCRDF with a court date of 02/09/15 at 0900 hours.
