The Inverse Relationship Between the Causation of Global Warming and the Effect of Humanity
Human beings live, breath, and, in every aspect of the term, are the Earth; everything we do directly impacts our environment, and as a result, impacts us as humans, and our lives. With such an overwhelming and impending issue that is Global Warming, one would surmise that more people would be further educated and demanding of not only an explanation to this issue, but more importantly, for a solution. With a thorough and objective analysis of scientific data, and the events that have occurred throughout and beyond human history, one can conclude that humans are not only the cause …show more content…
Sustainable energy is any renewable energy source, hence the term ‘sustainable,’ this category of energy has numerous forms, such as wind energy, water energy, and solar energy. The institution of sustainable energy can be used to help lower our carbon emissions if sustainable energy is used as an alternative to unsustainable energy, such as fossil fuel, and not used in addition to unsustainable energy. If the world achieves a level of sustainable energy as an alternative to unsustainable ones, such that carbon emissions are significantly reduced, then the inflated planetary temperature would begin to fall. Therefore, allowing for the reconstruction of destroyed natural habitats, and if the international community acts now there may still be hope for the reconstruction of dwindling species. The institution of sustainable energy may not be as out of reach as one may believe, the Business Council for Sustainable Energy states that there is a declining cost of wind and solar power(Worland). This is mainly attributed to advances in technology, and declining costs of sustainable energy advocate for the rapid adoption of said sustainability. Furthermore, the cost of building large utility-scale sustainable power plants has tremendously gone down; for example, solar photovoltaic power plants have decreased by fifty-percent in the last five years(Worland). Technological advancements in the field of sustainable energy are increasing rapidly, and with new advancement comes cheaper and more readily available sustainable energy. Overall, with the rapid sustainability advancements that are occurring in our society, the global environment may still be
