Invention Strategies Of A Writer

It is never a more daunting task than to begin writing an essay, but with the use of the many invention strategies this task becomes especially simple. Using the invention strategies such as freewriting, clustering, and listing one can easily establish a topic or idea that will quickly attain the attention from their audience. There are many people who dismiss the use of invention when beginning the writing process because they believe it is a waste of time and does not serve a valid purpose. Invention strategies can be defined as the ability to think of new ideas. There are many different strategies that are often used, such as freewriting, clustering, listing, and outlining. When using the strategy of freewriting one can determine what they already know about a topic and come up with new creative ideas and examples. Freewriting can often be confused as a first draft and often times even become too long to be useful, the writer as to be aware that this is just a way to get ideas on to paper. In clustering, one can explore or examine an idea fully before writing.
