Invasive species are plants and animals or pathogens that are non-native to the ecosystem. In which under consideration and whose introduction may cause harm to the environment.(Gateway to Invasive Species Information) They come from different countries due to different environmental that factors that attract them here. Many of the animals that you thought that were native to the united states of america are not. They have recently been introduced into south Asia. Rabbits live in burrows under ground so they mostly reside in places such as meadows, woods,forests,grasslands,deserts, and wetlands. They are now inhabited in your own backyard.Rabbits are known as primary consumers. Primary consumers are usually herbivores,that feed on plants and fungus.(Consumer) Rabbits mainly eat plants and grass .They rely on food to help get their energy since they don’t make their own food they really on anyone. Since grass and plants are rabbits main source of food and they do not have to hunt or go after anyone so they are a primary target to other animals.
