Intuitive Direct Faith Stages

The second stage of Fowler’s, is “Intuitive-Projective Faith”. This stage occurs between ages two and six of a child’s life. During these years, I went to pre-school at the catholic school in Webster Minnesota. I couldn’t really understand what the concept of spirituality was, or what they were teaching me about God, but I followed along and listened to what my parents and teachers said. I was surrounded by other kids who were learning the same thing, so I had no one to make me question what I was being told.
The next faith stage is called “Mythic-Literal Faith”, which occurs when the child is between six and twelve years. These years really speak to my time in Sunday school. I related to faith by listening to stories from the bible in class,
