I would like to introduce you to my hero, Roy Whitelaw. He was born on November 20, 1928 at Duda’s Maternity Hospital, Monessen, Pennsylvania to a family of 6. He had two sisters and one brother. Later, Roy graduated with the Class of 1946 from Monessen High School. Then went on to college to study accounting at the Douglas Education Center in Monessen. After studying there he moved on to the Computer Programming Institute of Pittsburgh, graduating top of his class. Now after college he went on to his first well-paying job at the Nabisco plant in Pittsburgh. He was the general manager. After new management he was left go and moved to Florida to work at a bank.
