“What’s this?” I gander at the intricate indentations of the tinfoil-wrapped cylinder. My dad took me to the Edison Laboratory in West Orange to expand on my knowledge and interest on technology and engineering.
All the inventions made me question my capabilities of constructing a beautiful masterpiece, so I begged my dad if we can build something. My dad agreed and took me to a store. “Things always have a way of figuring themselves out.” That’s what my dad always would tell me when I was younger which, in a way, relates my life to Jeannette Walls’ in The Glass Castle. He told me that whether or not things had problems over time or in a matter of seconds, they would always figure themselves out. I carry those words with me as a reminder that things for me were really hard at one point, but in the end they figured themselves out. My parents divorced when I was twelve years old, and just headed into 7th grade.…

Sunlight seeped through the window onto my old worn out chair. I had fallen asleep there from the night before, drifting away in my thoughts about all I had done when I was young. I was so proud and satisfied with what I had accomplished, and even though most of the world looked at me as a monster, I couldn't be more proud about who I was. I had escaped from my worst nightmare, and ended up in an old dilapidated apartment in southern Argentina. My name, Josef Mengele, was on countless kill lists, and my head was worth thousands if it was brought back, but in my opinion I had made that task impossible.…

Have you ever wondered how weird it would be to find weird objects in your yard, something that you don’t know what it is but doesn’t like it’s from Earth. In the summer of 1947, a rancher with the name of Mac Brazel had discovered unidentifiable objects in his pasture in Roswell, New Mexico. It was some sort of metallic stick that were held together with some sort of tape, there were chunks of plastic and reflectors, and very heavy glossy paper like material. Glenn Dennis stated “ there were several small bodies that had autopsies performed on them”, Jesse Marcel said the weirdest one, “ it wouldn’t burn… it didn’t weigh anything, it so thin, it wasn’t thicker than tinfoil in a package of cigarettes.…
