Joseph Campbell’s seventeen stages of the Hero’s Journey can be applied to any piece of literature, movie etc. In The Stranger, Into the Wild, and Nineteen Eighty-Four the authors, Albert Camus,Jon Krakauer, write about characters’ adventures whether it is negative such as going against a certain set of rules or just simply straying from the normal way things are done in order to emphasize the different forms of adventure that can be experienced using the same concept. These novel’s protagonist all experience emotions that normal day people can relate to which leads them on an adventurous life experience. We know this because Chris quotes him many ones in the novel.lds who gives him or her training, equipment, or advice that will help on the journey. Or the hero reaches within to a source of courage and wisdom. The mentor symbolizes guidance. It is often seen in the form of a person but can also be seen as an object or even an animal etc. The mentor can provide the hero with insight into a dilemma he faces, training , advice or even self confidence. The hero merits the mentor somewhere in the beginning of the rising and at the end of the setup of the plot. Most people think that a hero's mentor has to be an old man or woman, but that is not true. Mentors can be young or old, human or animal. Mentors are people who make you realize what your purpose is for the adventure.In most of mythology, the preparation is done with the aid of the wise, protective figure of the Mentor, who will guide, train, teach, or test the hero to see if he is really ready
