Into the Wild is a drama film directed by Sean Penn displaying the original story written by John Krakauer. In the film, a man named Christopher Johnson McCandless acted by Emile Hirsch is from a wealthy family and just graduates Emory University as a top student and athlete. However, Christopher has his own ideas about the meaning of life. Instead of continuing his study or embarking on a prestigious and profitable career, he chooses to donate all his money to charity, rid himself of his possessions, and go on a journey to his dream place, Alaska. Christopher has shown himself as a person with fiery passion for his dream and life, but in the other hand his recklessness reveals him as a childish and overconfident immature young man.
