Interviewer bias is something that occurs frequently in research cases and can directly affect the results that are generated from the participant’s responses. In an online article titled, “10 Types of Interviewer Bias to Avoid” it states, “The ‘similar to me’ error involves a perception that people who share traits with you or that you perceive to be similar to you in some way are “like” you – and would therefore be a good fit for the job.” (White, 2015). This is what I think occurred in this particular case study regarding interviewer bias. After some time the researcher found out that the interviewers were classified as a socialist and a prohibitionist, which directly corresponded to the types of answers they provided based on the interview
