The limitations of my interviewee’s experience included the dismissal of requests by the kitchen staff, however, he was satisfied with all the other aspects of care that he received and agreed that it must be difficult for all staff working in hospitals to grant all of the requests presented by patients. Personally, I believe that staff working in a hospital should be able to prioritise requests such as these, to ensure that all patients are comfortable and happy whilst staying in the facilities. If it had not of been for his family, my interviewee would have really struggled to eat, which may have lead to him not eating at all due to it being so difficult. 116
