Interview with Angelica
Music blaring. Colorful lights. Oceans of people dancing and laughing. This what you would imagine the daily life of a college student is. But for Angelica it's nothing like that. At first encounter, she might look like an average teenager with her in style clothing and latest trends but don't let her appearance fool you. As you get to interact more with her you get to see a mature and responsible woman who has a lot to offer to the world. Angelica is a 21-year-old woman with long brown hair and a short petite figure living in Providence, Rhode Island. During her senior year in Mount Pleasant High School she realized she wanted to become a nurse. She enjoyed helping people and had an interest in science and health, “I think I always had that, knowing I wanted to become a nurse, I always cared for people” she explained. Her search for a college that suited her soon began. She applied to various schools, including the University of Maine, URI, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy science and technology, Rhode Island College, and New England Tech. In the end, she chose Rhode Island College because of its reputable nursing program. She was also able to get a scholarship for her tuition, so it was “financially …show more content…
She didn't manage her time well and left her assignments at(to) the last minute. She regrets not planning her time management and wishes she would have done it in her first year. “If I had managed my time better I would not have been as stressed as I was” she explained. Now she records all her assignments on her calendar and dedicates enough time to work on them. Angelica also didn't have an enjoyable experience with her first roommate. She says that her roommate was a bit messy and she had to clean up after her because she was rarely in their dormitory. But her negative experience taught her a lot. “I learned that living with someone is not easy and you have to compromise a lot,” she said. However, she had a better experience with her second roommate. Angelica and her new roommate got along well and had agreed on terms and cleaning schedules. She says that their agreement was definitely
