Interview and Sexuality Experience Throughout the “Sexual Interview”, it assisted in becoming aware of my own sexual preferences/identity, my idea of a sexual being, my past sexual experiences during my developmental years, and how my faith, family members, and peers influenced my views/beliefs. Now that I reviewed my sexual identity, I obtained self-awareness that will aid my counseling abilities while supporting clients who are struggling with their sexuality. Further, by interviewing someone’s sexuality helped me take into account other’s history, interests, and values regarding sexuality. Nevertheless, this interviewing assignment benefited me in practicing my therapeutic abilities I will administer for my future clients who are encountering
