1. Senior Capstone Experience - Week 7 Discussion

Assess your self-talk for a few hours. Write down all your negative comments and then list your positive ones. Would you say you are more positive or negative in your approach to life and its challenges? Share examples.
I strongly believe that my most negative comment would be the fact that I am a perfectionist. I just always have to have things go my way. If things do not go as planned, I see myself as a total failure. I tend to exaggerate the importance of insignificant events, such as a small mistake.

When it comes to appointments, I always arrive 15 minutes before the appointment time, so I will definitely do the same when it comes to my interview.

I was just always honest and sincere with my answers. I tried to stay as calm as possible. I think my only problem was that I get very nervous and start stuttering my words. This is why I need to practice before with friends and family so they can keep me calm.
My first recommendation would be to practice interviewing. Taking the time to review typical interview questions you will probably be asked during a job interview will help give you a framework for your responses and will help calm your frazzled nerves, because you won't be scrambling for an answer while you're in the interview hot seat. Practice interviewing with a friend or family member ahead of time and it will be much easier when you're actually in a job interview. My second recommendation would be to listen. It can be easy to get distracted during a job interview. It's stressful and you're in the hot seat when it comes to having to respond to questions. That said, if you
