During his time there, he studied broadcast journalism with a minor in communications. Cedric was a well-rounded student, he played sports, joined clubs and organizations, and on top of all that he had good grades that reflected him. As I asked the question, “What are some of your fondest memories of your college years?” he responded by stating that those memories came during his first year. All of the standing relationships that …show more content…
I asked Cedric what he regret not having done in college?, the response that he gave me surprised me a little. The response was that he really did not regret many things about college because the experiences that he had were great experiences that taught him a lesson. If he did have to choose something, he would have chosen to have studied with more urgency his first couple of years and put more effort into his core classes for his profession. By the response that he gave me I then asked how he stayed organized in his classes?, his answer was that organization is key to succeeding so the thing that he did was study a bit and go over notes that he might have taken in class. Then he stated that he should have been more organized with his studies and maybe he could of accomplished a lot more. Then I asked him which of his ideals helped make college most rewarding?, his response was, “The most rewarding thing about college is being immersed in the environment. The idea that you’re your own boss and to have a now or never attitude about the future you desire. You are forced to become a self-motivator because you are not around the norms of home any longer.
