As an Intervention Specialist, it is important I have an understanding the latest and most effective teaching techniques in all subjects. Additionally, given the clients I work with, where deficient in motivation and engagement exist as a result of a learning disability, identifying techniques to enrich learning experiences and positive outcomes is important. I believe in my future teaching experiences I can improve motivation and engagement in math by incorporating video games and holiday assignments.
