The behavior that I would like to change is eating healthier and exercising. For the past two years I have lived a sedentary life. I used to exercise four times a week for at least an hour. I have gained over 30 pounds in the past 2 ½ years. Right before I gained this weight, I was informed by my primary care physician that I was 20 pounds overweight for my height. It was not as if I wanted to gain weight, but my morale to exercise was gone. I plan to track my change in my eating habits by utilizing calorie counter apps on my phone in order to track my calorie intake daily. My daily calorie intake limit will be 2200 calories . I spent the day reading for the class in between the downtime that I had at work. Once I left the office, I went to the daycare to pick up the children. I was in swimming class from 7:30 pm until 8:30 pm. While there, I burned 524 calories. Yay, Me! After showering and washing my hair I turned in for the night at around 10:55 pm. Tomorrow will be a better day. I will begin to take into account that just because I go to a fast food restaurant does not mean that I have to eat for that is high in fat and calories. I will have to keep in mind that eating a salad and being aware of the calorie content of the food that I consume is a big part in healthier
