Interval training burns three times the amount of body fat than conventional exercise. Interval training consists of random spurts with high-intensity movements followed by low-intensity movements. 20 to 30 minutes of High intensity interval training three times a week burns body fat, boost metabolism, improve endurance and speed along with cardiovascular health. Different forms of exercise, such as, running, walking, swimming, strength training and cycling could translate into interval training. The rule for intervals involves repeatedly exercising at a high intensity pace for 30 to 60 seconds to several minutes, separated by 1 to 5 minutes of recovery which would be a low intensity pace. In summary, fat loss is substantial when incorporating interval training in a workout routine.
