Interval Training Analysis

Decent Essays
Interval Training is cardiorespiratory training technique that alternates brief speed and recovery intervals to increase the overall intensity of your workout. Interval training is high intensity workouts and it is often used to reach performance goals and enhance fitness and well being. Interval training is beneficial because it reduces abdominal and subcutaneous fat, along with decreases fasting insulin and increases insulin sensitivity. Interval training that we do in gym class is mainly when we do our walk/jog before going into the weight room. If you push yourself more and more each time you jog then the better results. I have also used interval training at home. I have an app called Sworkit and I select my workout and it is interval training.
